AntiVir 在台灣大家都叫他『小紅傘』，是一款遠近馳名由德國人製作的免費軟體（個人版），以其簡單介面與不吃資源著名，，跟 Avast! 都是廣受好評的、普遍使用的免費防毒軟體。

AVG Free 是一款不少人愛用的防毒軟體，不只有常駐程式幫你監視檔案、還有反間諜程式、信件掃描、連結掃描、搜尋掃描、自動更新病毒碼等，自動掃描、排程掃描的功能也具備，甚至還可設定掃描後自動關閉電腦，以免費軟體來說，算是多功能又簡易使用的了。

這是掃除廣告、間諜程式等惡意程式的免費軟體，它也有付費版的，意思就是免費版的功能有限，但偶爾起來它來配合其他防毒軟體、掃描電腦一下還是能增加電腦的安全。

這個防毒軟體是筆者相當喜愛的防毒軟體之一，因為功能這麼多卻又免費，重點是他還是繁體中文介面的。他不只能直接掃描檔案、清除隔離病毒，還能掃描你的網路、掃描網頁，掃描信件、P2P與即時通訊病毒防護(不知道支不支援 MSN)。序號是免費申請的，過期也不用怕，再申請一個就好，使用上十分方便、容易上手。

有沒有看過體積小到不行又不吃資源的掃毒軟體呀？ClamWin 就是非常有名的一套，而攜帶版是由 PortableApps 開發的，不需安裝，只要選定要存放的位置，之後就能直接開啟程式使用了。ClamWin 只有幾項基本的功能，而這些功能都能在軟體介面輕鬆地找到，病毒碼更新也只需按下一顆按鍵即可，以掃毒軟體排名來看雖然沒有特別優秀，但看在它不用安裝的份上就別太計較了。

PC Tools 是筆者之前常聽國內網友提起的防毒軟體，有機會試用過後終於知道為何受歡迎了，因為他有繁體中文的使用者介面呀！更何況操作介面和選項也都十分簡單、好懂、因此容易上手，該有的功能像常駐檔案監視、信件掃毒、右鍵掃描、排程更新、自動更新都有，甚至連一些有名的防毒做不到的『病毒自動處理』選項都能自行設定，無怪乎還是有很多國人愛用。
